Strategy, Design, Web Design

YYES

Future of Cities, a visionary organization focused on “Regenerative Placemaking,” partnered with YYES to expand their brand and design a new website that reflects their multifaceted mission. The site needed to unify three distinct but interconnected areas—real estate investing, a think tank, and a venture ecosystem—while engaging a wide range of users. I contributed to the design strategy and execution, helping deliver a vibrant, interactive experience under a highly compressed timeline.

Future of Cities operates at the intersection of real estate, innovation, and urban impact with audiences ranging from investors to policy thinkers to community advocates. Previous design attempts struggled to communicate their full scope without becoming fragmented or overly complex. The challenge was to synthesize a broad, abstract mission into a digital experience that felt focused, clear, and inspiring, on an accelerated production schedule.

We aimed to create a website that would expand upon Future of Cities’ brand and clearly communicate their work across three interconnected verticals. The goal was to design an experience that was accessible yet layered, colorful yet sophisticated, and functional yet engaging.

We developed a vibrant, modern website that brings Future of Cities’ mission to life through bold color, clean design, and subtle motion. Interactive features like load animations, parallax scrolling, and dynamic transitions added visual interest and guided users through complex content. The final site delivered clarity and cohesion across diverse initiatives, and was launched successfully within the client's fast-paced schedule.
